Father Cuts 11-Month-old Son’s Fingers For Money Rituals At Kasoa(Alleged)
Efo Kwasi Joseph, 71, slashed two fingers of his 11-month-old biological son with a carpenter’s saw in Kasoa Millennium City in the Central Region.
The event occurred in the afternoon of Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
Juliana Amenasor, the suspect’s wife, stated that she was astonished to see her infant son lose his fingers after her husband, a carpenter, brought the youngster to his workshop and chopped his fingers.
According to the information acquired, the suspect frequently threatened to use his son for money rituals and threatened to sever the baby’s fingers, but his wife consistently chastised him.
In an interview, the suspect’s wife stated that the youngster is in severe agony and cannot stop wailing.
She went on to say that she needed money for surgery as well as meds given by doctors, which is a huge burden, and she has asked the public for help.
The mother has requested that the Inspector General of Police intervene and charge the spouse in order to act as a deterrence to others.
Meanwhile, the case has been submitted to Millennium City police for inquiry.
At the time of filing, the culprit had not been apprehended.
